Description
English: Henjasaj Koda (born 1947 in Japan) has done the artistic production called "Meeting of the waves" and consists of five different artworks, which together form a unit, inspired by Zen philosophy. The sign is at Alvik subway station in Bromma, Stockholm. The station was built in 1952 and the artistic production was risen in 1999 when it was renovated.
Svenska: Henjasaj Koda (född 1947 i Japan) har utfört den konstnärliga gestaltningen som kallas "Vågornas möte" och består av fem olika konstverk, som tillsammans bildar en enhet med inspiration hämtad från Zen-filosofin. Skylt uppsatt på väggen vid Alviks T-banestation, Bromma, Stockholm. Stationen byggdes 1952 och den konstnärliga utsmyckningen kom till 1999 i samband med ombyggnation.

Den konstnärliga gestaltningen "Vågornas möte" består av fem olika konstverk, som tillsammans bildar en enhet med inspiration hämtad från Zen-filosofin. 1) "Gryningskälla", stenskulptur huggen i diabas från Boalt i Skåne och väger cirka 38 ton. 2)"Orm och irisar", väggmålning vid entrén, cirka 110 kvadratmeter stor, utförd i cementmosaik. 3) "Vassens visningar", klinkervägg från biljetthallen till plattformen. 4) "Isens fjäll", golv i cementmosaik i biljetthallen. 5) "Dropp från fjärran", skyddsräcke av corténstål (rosttrögt stål) med klippmönster, som löper utmed spåret och vetter mot Drottningholmsvägen.
