Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Hemp agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) This plant's frothy clusters of light and dark pink flowers earned it the name raspberries-and-cream and its hemp-shaped leaves led it to be called Holy Rope at one time.
Once a valuable medicinal plant, see http://botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/a/agrim016.html its chief importance now is as a butterfly attractant.
It grows in damp places, often in large stands, as here on the edge of the Nevern estuary.
