| Description |
Native, warm-season, perennial, rigid, creeping, mat-forming grass that has stolons and rhizomes and grows to 1 m tall. Leaves are green or reddish, hairless and narrow (to 5 mm wide). Found in damp or wet situations such as swamps and drains. Salt tolerant and often grows in estuarine areas. Feed quality is moderate in spring and early summer, but otherwise is insufficient for maintenance of cattle. |
