| Description |
English: Helmsley Walled Garden and Duncombe Park. The garden was laid out originally in 1758 to supply fruit, vegetables and flowers to the Duncombe Estate. It was abandoned in the 1970s, and has been restored as a garden open to the public from the 1990s. See its website http://www.helmsleywalledgarden.org.uk/ . The part of the garden shown in 674622 is off the left hand side of this photo. Beyond is Duncombe Park. View from Helmsley Castle. |
