English: Built in 1906, this Gothic Revival-style church was designed by George F. Newton for the congregation of the North Presbyterian Church, founded in 1847 and originally located in Downtown Buffalo until the congregation moved further out in response to the movement of its congregants. In 1952, the process occurred again, with the church moving to suburban Williamsville, at which time the building was sold to the congregation of the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, founded by Greek immigrants in 1907, and located for decades in a smaller Byzantine-style building on Oak Street. The church features a rusticated stone exterior, buttresses along the north and south facades, a front and rear gable roof with gabled transepts and gabled wooden dormers with tracery and decorative stained glass windows on the roof of the sanctuary, gothic arched stained glass windows on the side facades, a large gothic arched window with tracery above the double oak front entry door, a square English Gothic-inspired tower with corner buttresses, gothic arched louvers at the belfry, decorative tracery and pinnacles at the top of the tower parapet, and a small stair tower on the south side, a low side entry vestibule on the north side, and a rear classroom and office structure surrounding a small enclosed courtyard at the rear of the sanctuary. To the rear of the classroom and office building is a modernist buff brick and concrete block addition with simple vertically accentuated bays dividing the facade into distinct bands, built by the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation congregation after their purchase of the building. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, and continues to house the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation congregation.
