Cover: Chief Seattle Flower Potlatch poster, by Maryl Clemmens. Cover article discusses event at Volunteer Park to symbolically return land to Native Americans. Page 5 article discusses the establishment of the University District Movement. Page 6 article discusses Muhammad Ali's refusal to enlist in the army for the Vietnam War. Page 11 article describes anti-war marches in New York and San Francisco. Page 13 article discusses the Seattle School Board's failed attempt to stop Stokely Carmichael from speaking at Garfield High School.

This is actually page 14 of the issue, because pages 8-9 are a single spread. The "Unclassified" ads here include an event by the Freedom Socialist Party, then less than a year old, at Freeway Hall, their original headquarters. There is also a display ad for the film Casino Royale playing at Seattle's Coliseum Theatre.
