Description
Deutsch: Das Ehrenmal auf dem Vorplatz des neuen Hemsbacher Rathauses ist in Anlehnung an den Springbrunnen des ehemaligen Schlossparks gestaltet worden. Der achteckige Brunnen, getragen von acht Löwen, wurde von Oberbaurat Dr. Schmieder entworfen, während der Karlsruher Bildhauer Mayenhuber das Ehrenmal modellierte. Das Ehrenmal wurde von den Granitwerken Rüth & Reinemuth, die ihre Produktionsstätte am Bahnhof in Heppenheim hatten, gefertigt. Der Brunnen, gefertigt aus Odenwälder Granit, wurde am Pfingstmontag des Jahres 1928 feierlich eingeweiht.
