Description
English: Commander, Combined Task Force (CTF) 150, German Rear Adm. Heinrich Lange, stops to look at the artifacts on display in the ship’s port annex during a tour aboard the U.S. Navy’s amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima recently deployed from her homeport of Norfolk, Va., beginning a regularly scheduled six-month deployed in support of maritime patrol operations and the global war on terrorism.
