Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Dazzlingly-colored exhibits populate the interior of the Heineman Gallery at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, as seen during a January 2023 visit. Built around and named after the extensive collection of Ben W. and Natalie Goldstein Heineman which was donated to the museum in 2006, the gallery presents Corning's collection of contemporary-style glass vessels, sculptures, and objects dated between 1975 and 2000, an era when large corporate glassworks were largely abandoning the production of custom artistic pieces to small-scale artisans: the so-called "studio glass" movement.
