Description

Shonosuke Okura ist der älteste Sohn von Chojuro Okura der in der 15. Generation die Otsuzumi und Kotsuzumi Schule weiter führte. Die Wurzeln der Okura Musikschule reichen 670 Jahre in die Muromachi Epoche zurück, in der das Noh-Theater entstand. Sowohl im Noh-Ensemble als auch im Solo-Spiel hat er seine Kunst perfektioniert. In seiner Karriere hat er in Japan und im Ausland mit vielen Künstlern aus unterschiedlichen Genres zusammen gearbeitet. Er wurde bereits in jungen Jahren als höchstrangiger Kulturbotschafter für japanische Kunst ernannt .

Am 1. Juli 2012 trat Meister Shonosuke Okura gemeinsam mit dem Schlagzeuger Christian Dierstein im Rahmen der Heimattage in Donaueschingen auf.
