Deutsch: Hauptorgel der röm.-kath. Stiftskirche in der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Heiligenkreuz.
Die Orgel wurde 1804 von Orgelbaumeister Ignaz Kober gefertigt. Sie hat 55 Register und 2.959 Pfeifen, verteilt auf zwei Manuale und Pedal. Der Figurenschmuck stammt teilweise von der Vorgängerorgel, die die Gebrüder Römer (Ferdinand Römer) 1721 fertigten. Ursprünglich befand die Orgel sich auf der barocken Empore über dem Hauptportal des Langhauses. Nachdem die Empore 1949 abgetragen wurde, wurde die Orgel von 1950 bis 1952 umgebaut und in den nördlichen Querhausarm versetzt. Ab 1995 erfolgte durch die Orgelbaufirma Helmut Allgäuer eine umfassende Renovierung und ein weitgehender Rückbau in den Originalzustand, einschließlich der originalen Disposition, und am Kreuzerhöhungsfest, dem 14. September 1997, fand die feierliche Einweihung der restaurierten Orgel durch Abt Gerhard Hradil OCis stattː [1]. English: Organ of the collegiate church in Heiligenkreuz, Lower Austria. |
