| Description |
English: Heifer and caravans, near Alton Priors The yearling heifer was one of several at the head of the combe in this square. The caravans, and here I am speculating, may belong to people awaiting the solstice later this month. This part of Wiltshire has a tradition of attracting those with a slightly alternative view of things. Crop circles occur most years, UFOs have been reported and of course Stonehenge and Avebury aren't far away. |
