| Description |
English: Hedon Road, Kingston upon Hull The Hull & Holderness Railway opened 26 June 1853. Its terminus in the city was Victoria Dock Station, Hedon Road. Withernsea line trains were rerouted to run into Hull Paragon Station from 1 June 1864; Victoria Dock Station was henceforth closed to passenger trains. Much of the site was cleared for the construction of Garrison Road in the 1970s. Today, the remaining site is occupied by South Orbital Trading Park. The only remaining feature from the original station site is part of the brick-built boundary wall. |
