| Description |
English: Hedon railway station, Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The old station buildings at Hedon on the now disused Hull to Withernsea railway line, looking west from the B1240 (Soutter Gate / Preston Road) at the junction with Station Lane. The line opened on 30th June 1854 but was considered financially unviable by the 1960s. It closed to passengers on 19th October 1964 and to goods traffic in the following May. |
