| Description |
English: Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, Bypassed. Cars can travel at 60mph along here (legally), but have been known to do at least double that along this 1.8 mile stretch of single carriageway road. Built about twenty years ago, the bypass removes the bottleneck on the A1033 which the town of Hedon formerly created. The photograph was taken at dusk looking westwards and the chemical complex at Saltend gives a backdrop to the scene. |
