HEDDA HOPPER, having spent the early years of her life on the stage under the management of people like Sam Harris and Arthur Hopkins, came to the screen a finished actress. She was born in Pittsburgh a d christened Hedda Furey. However, as the fifth wife of DeWolfe Hopper, she took the name she has invested with so much distinction through her portrayals in motion pictures. Miss Hopper has brown hair green eyes, is 5 feet 7 and weighs 135 pounds. Divorced DeWolfe Hopper in 1924. She has one son, Billie.
