English: It was named Ras Al-Joura in reference to the Battle of Al-Joura: it was the largest battle in which the Hebron revolutionaries rose up in the 1936 revolution. The battle took place in its area before it was known today as Ras Al-Joura, which is the northern entrance to the city of Hebron. . The battle is considered one of the largest battles in the history of the Palestinian revolutionary struggle and in the history of the 1936 revolution. After the revolutionaries took control of the city of Hebron on August 20, 1938 |
