Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A photo from the early 1980s showing a girl wearing a hearing aid with a transistor worn across the chest with shoulder straps. This design was used before hearing aids worn only in the ear canal were invented. The wearer now says, "not that it helped me much but other than being conspicious it had really loud feedback every time i smiled or laughed".
