[edit]DescriptionHealthy Soils Tunnel Shows Kids Life in the Soil. (17050274990).jpg | Darrel DuVall, Tribal Liaison for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Chamberlain, helped kids learn about healthy soils during a Natural Resources Day on April 17, 2015. Healthy soil has lots of good biological activity in it. Earthworms make macro pores in soil that helps water to infiltrate into the soil profile. After kids learned a little about soil and soil biology, they could pretend to be an earthworm and crawl through the soil tunnel! |
