Description
English: U.S. Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, commander of U.S. Southern Command, visited Barbados Aug. 6 to meet with senior defense and RSS leaders and discuss regional security cooperation.

During the visit, Royal Barbados Defence Force Chief of Staff, Col. Alvin Quintyne, and Grantley Watson, Regional Security System coordinator, hosted office calls with the general and addressed topics of mutual interest, such as transnational threats and the Caribbean’s Counter Illicit Trafficking Strategy.
