Summary

[edit]
Description After visiting the North of Chile, we flew down to Santiago and then across to Easter Island (or Rapa Nui as the locals call it. Or Isla de Pascua as Spanish speakers call it), some 3700km off the coast of South America. The famous Moai statues are dotted around the island in various states of completion and restoration. This one was still under construction when the statues were being created, it is lying in situ on the ground (hence the funny angle).
