Description

עברית: תל חצור הוא תל וגן לאומי השוכן בתל אל-קדח סמוך וממערב לאיילת השחר בגבולו הדרומי של עמק החולה. תל חצור משתרע על שטח של כ-840 דונם בין התוואי הישן והחדש של כביש 90 והוא הגדול מבין כ-200 תילים מקראיים ברחבי ישראל. על שמה של חצור ההיסטורית נקראה חצור הגלילית שקמה כמעברה ב-1953. בשנת 2005 הוכר תל חצור כאתר מורשת עולמית יחד עם תל מגידו ותל באר שבע. ביולי 2012 נתגלו ממצאים חדשים במקום אשר לדעת חוקרים, תומכים בסיפור המקראי של כיבוש ארץ ישראל על ידי יהושע בן נון‏.
