Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In 1916, Peter Zyla of Chicago claimed to have been blinded in a workplace accident, and received $3500 compensation (in 1916 dollars). His employer's insurance company believed this to be fraudulent, and arranged a scenario where Zyla (who thought that he had been recruited to participate in a movie) was filmed engaging in many activities that required sight; these included staring appreciatively when Hazel Daly exposed her leg as she stood on a ladder above him.
