Description
English: On 7 October 1966, a Joint US and South Vietnamese Army Pacification program termed Operation Lam Son II, is conducted by elements of the 1st Inf Div and elements of the 5th ARVN forces in Binh Dung Province, 20 kilometers northwest of Saigon. Members of the security force search hay stacks and wood piles for suspected Viet Cong operating in this area during the pacification program. NARA 111-CCV-373-CC36672
