some part of the Park. Camping parties will findthe region in the vicinity of Yanceys an excellent placeduring August and September. HOTELS OF THE PARK. Are six in number: Mammoth at Mammoth HotSprings, Norris at Norris Geyser Basin, Fountainat Lower Geyser Basin, Old Faithful Inn at Upper Gey-ser Basin, Lake at outlet Yellowstone Lake, andCanyon at the Grand Canyon. They are under onemanagement, the Y. P. A. (Yellowstone Park Associa-tion), who construct and operate the hotels in the Park.Concessions are granted them by the Honorable Secre-tary of the Interior, and all rates and charges made topatrons require the approval of the department. Theprivate Telegraph Line of the Y. P. A. is connectedwith the Western Union Telegraph Lines from all thehotels. In furnishings and table service these hostel-ries compare favorably with those of other resorts.They are electric-lighted and steam-heated.
