Native trout (Salmo my hiss) arefound in Yellowstone River, Gardiner River, Black-Tail-Deer Creek, Lava Creek, East Fork of YellowstoneRiver, Slough Creek, Yehowstone Lake, Snake River, TOUR OF^ THE PARK. 131 Heart Lake and Madison River below the Falls of Fire-hole ; Eastern Brook Trout (Salvelimis fontinalis) inUpper Gardiner, Willow Creek, Indian Creek and GlennCreek; Loch Leven Trout (Salmo triitta levenensis), inFirehole River, Nez Perces Creek and the Madison aboveKeppler Cascades ; Rainbow Tro\\t( Salmo i rid ens), M2idi-son River, below the Falls of Firehole. Tourists making the usual tour of the Park will haveonly one opportunity for first-class fishing unless stop-overs are made. This will be at the lake, in the outletsome two miles from the hotel; row boats, with com-petent oarsmen, can be had of the Boat Company, as wellas fishing tackle. Hot Springs Hotel are the Gardiner River, YellowstoneRiver, Black-Tail-Deer Creek, Lava Creek, WillowCreek and Indian Creek. Near the Fountain Hotel: Firehole River, NezPerces Creek and Madison River. At Yanceys: In Yellowstone River, East Fork andSlough Creek. There is no time during the Park season(June to October) that the fishing is not first-class insome part of the Park. Camping parties will find theregion in the vicinity of Yanceys an excellent placeduring August and September. HOTELS OF THE PARK Are six in number: Mammoth at Mammoth HotSprings, Norris at Norris Geyser Basin, Fountain atLower Geyser Basin, Upper Basin at Upper GeyserBasin, Lake at outlet Yellowstone Lake, and Canyonat the Grand Canyon. They are under one manage-ment, the Y. P. A. (Yellowstone Park Association), whoconstruct and operate the hotels in the Park.
