English: Hayling Oysterbeds The walls were reshaped in the to allow water to flow through the beds with each tide, though they are still mostly enclosed and sheltered. These breaks also stop people walking around the edge, as used to be possible, so the outer banks now make good roosting and nesting areas with little disturbance. |
