Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This building was built in 1904 by the Kern County land Co. for the Hayden Furniture Company. originally designed to be 1 story, the plans were revised before construction began to add a second floor for use by the Ancient Order of United Workmen as a meeting hall. Designed by San Francisco architect Charles I. Havens, it is surprisingly intact, unlike many others destroyed in the 1952 earthquake.
