| Description |
English: Haybarn Swing Bridge, Wey and Arun Canal. This section of the canal is still to be re-opened to boat traffic but renovation works, such as this bridge, are much in evidence. The Haybarn Swing Bridge was originally on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal at Bar Lane, Keighley. When it was disused, the British Waterways Board gave it to the Wey and Arun Canal Trust. The bridge was declared open on 16th July 2005 by the local MP, Rt Hon Francis Maude. |
