Description
English: Hawfinch (Coccothraustes coccothraustes) Lynford Arboretum is one of the best places to see this impressive species. The powerful beak can crack open cherry stones. The trees in the paddock, where this photo was taken, are the best places to see them. Crossbills are also often seen in the area.
