Description
English: The Hawa Mahal is one of the most iconic landmarks in Jaipur. Built by Sawai Pratap Singh to allow the royal ladies (who observed the Purdah system) to observe festivals and events in the city, the palace is built intricately to allow air through its passages. This allows the monument to maintain a cool interior during summers.
