Summary
[edit]DescriptionHavenstreet Station - geograph.org.uk - 1801653.jpg |
English: Havenstreet Station As usual at a heritage railway station there is no shortage of photogenic scenes - as well as more smartly uniformed staff than is perhaps strictly necessary. Havenstreet was a stop on the Ryde - Cowes line, a victim of the Beeching era closures, seeing its last British Railways train in 1966. It was revived by the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in 1991 and is now their headquarters; trains run between Smallbrook Junction and Wootton. |
