Photograph of a Havasupai Indian boy with a captured raccoon, ca.1899. He wears a hat with a wide brim, a cloth tied about his neck, a light shirt, dark trousers and shoes. He holds the chain of the trap which still grasps the tail of the raccoon standing at his feet. A saddle(?) and bedding(?) lay on the ground to his left. A canyon wall is visible behind him.
