Description
English: Title: Havana

Abstract: Print shows the fortified entrance to the harbor with a large chain blocking the entrance between a fort on the right and a tower at center. There is a second fort to the left of the tower. A large warship dominates the lower left corner with other smaller boats in the outer harbor. Also shows a sprawling city along the waterfront of the inner harbor where many ships are docked; among the buildings are many steeples and a cathedral; the city is spreading to the foothills in the background. Physical description: 1 print : engraving ; plate 29.8 x 36 cm, on sheet 31.2 x 37.1 cm.
