Transcript InfoField | Havana Harbour is a deep lagoon with an entrance about half a mile wide and a long natural breakwater between the lagoon and the open sea. The Moro, a fine fortification of the Vanban period, stands at the harbour entrance opposite the city. The old Moro, which defied Drake and Oliver, stands on the crest of a range of hills along the same coast. |
