Description Ostfriesen in Mittelalterlicher Tracht. Aus dem 1561 begonnenen Hausbuchs des Unico Manninga, Häuptling zu Lütetsburg. Beschreibung aus dem Emder Jahrbuch für historische Landeskunde Ostfrieslands (Band X, 1892): "(XV l, m)Das oben gezeichnete Geschmeide welches von gutem Golde verfertigt mit Edelsteinen besetzt hoch erhaben und von dem Umfang war dass es mehr als eine Kanne Wasser in sich fassen konnte ist das grösste vor der Brust, von den kleineren aber zu beiden Seiten 2 auch wohl 3 Stück an einer goldenen Kette die von den Schultern her herunter hing, getragen worden. Solches Geschmeide, nämlich vor der Brust und zu beiden Seiten derselben nebst den dazu gehörigen Ketten hiess zusammen ein"
