English: In October 2007, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft imaged the dwarf planet Haumea, from a distance of 48.8 au (7.3 billion km, 4.5 billion mi). At the time, the object was visible at apparent magnitude +17.8 from the position of the spacecraft, in the direction of the constellation Coma Berenices. |
