Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Fig. 61. - Giant Winkelmeyer (2.28 m. in height). The size of the feet and hands, the projection of the lower jaw and the fulness of the supraorbital region are indicative of acromegaly. The skeleton has apparently gone ahead of the soft parts in its growth, for the correlation between them is very imperfect. From a photograph by the London Stereoscopic Co.
