| Description |
English: Down empty stock train passing the remains of Hassop Station. View westward, towards Bakewell, Matlock and Derby; ex-Midland Peak main line, Derby - Matlock - Buxton/Manchester. The train of mixed stock running as Special 3Y45, is headed by Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No. 48770. Hassop station had long since been closed to passengers (17/8/42) but was still open for goods; the coaches in the siding on the Up side may have been Camping Coaches. |
