Description
English: View West along the Hart-Haswell Walkway the site of Castle Eden Junction, where the Hartlepool to Sunderland via Haswell and Hartlepool to Ferryhill lines diverged. The route of the former is still followed by the path, passing to the right of the houses in the background while that of the latter is no longer visible, although contemporary maps suggest that it passed through the left side of the more lefterly of the two houses.
