WHITE GRAPES, continued ira. Ripens m August. The leadingGrape, and often referred to a Concord, as it holds the place among the white Grapes thatConcord does among the blacks. Bunch and berry large,greenish white, changing to pale yellow when fully ripe,the berries being covered with a beautiful bloom which isvery attractive; quality excellent. Niagara is the mostlargely planted of all white varieties, both in home andcommercial orchards. For the home-grounds it makes a finecompanion to Concord, and when grown in a commercialway is very profitable, as it is eagerly bought up in marketand always commands good prices. Pocklington. Berries large; golden yellow; sweet andtender. The vine is hardy and healthy, and bears fullcrops regularly. The foliage is large and handsome andproduces a beautiful effect on the arbor or trellis. *.
