Summary
[edit]DescriptionHarringay wth Gresley N2 0-6-2T geograph-2882480-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg |
English: Ex-GN Gresley N2 0-6-2T at Harringay. The majority of the N2 0-6-2Ts, like the N1s, worked in the London area of the ex-GN, mainly on inner suburban services but also on empty stock work: most were fitted with condensing gear because of the numerous tunnels, but this one has lost it. No. 9505 was built as GN No. 1726 in 12/20, became LNER No. 4726 then in 1946 No. 9505, surviving as BR No. 69505 until 11/60. |
