Title
Harness stud: Neville arms
Description
English: A copper alloy harness stud with a shield-shaped terminal, decorated with a broad saltire on a plain ground. Some traces of red enamel remain on the ground, but the deeply-incised saltire is empty. It would originally have been flush with the enamel, but the surface of the metal has now eroded away. A length of the original spike remains attached to the reverse. Measurements: 14 mm x 18 mm, spike remnant 15 mm.

Likely to be the Neville arms: gules, a saltire argent.
