Harness pendant with remains of black paint
Description
English: Medieval incomplete copper alloy harness pendant. Simple triangular shape with integral hanging loop at top. Loop is in the perpendicular plane to the pendant. Pendant is curved in at both sides, giving a concave cross-section. Evidence of black coating remains in areas on interior and around the loop. Exterior has no extant decoration. Section at bottom left torn away and missing; Length 39.79mm, width 13.36mm, depth (across pendant) 3.95mm, thickness (at loop) 6.23mm, weight 3.14g.
