Harness pendant: leaf/shield-shaped: gilded, non-heraldic
Description
English: A gilt copper alloy shield-shaped horse harness pendant with rounded shoulders producing a leaf-shape. Piece is curved from side to side, producing a convex face. Suspension loop intact. Piece is decorated with two separate vertical zigzag lines either side of the centre, each of these lines turning over and downwards at the top. A large amount of the original gilding remains on both the face and the back.

Measurements: 21 mm x 32 mm.

Measurements: 31mm at shoulders, 42 mm long.
