Harness pendant: Basset arms
Description
English: A copper alloy shield–shaped horse harness pendant, suspension loop intact and about 75% of the coloured enamels on the face remain. Arms visible are three piles gules, a canton ermine, with the piles and traces of white and an ermine extant, but the background colour (originally gold) entirely absent. Full blazon of arms is or, three piles gules, a canton ermine. Measurements: 27 mm x 45 mm.
