Title
Harness Pendant Hanger
Description
English: A gilt copper alloyT-shaped pendant mount, with the remains of the pendant loop attached. The fixing to the harness strap would have been with two rivets, one at either end of the cross bar; both are missing. This mount appears to be made of thick copper alloy sheeting which has been cut out and turned over at the back edges to stiffen the fixing plate; it is also turned up at the back to form the hinged fixing for the pendant; the corroded hinge pin is intact. In fair condition; slight traces of gilding can be seen.
