Description
English: A fairly large shield shaped copper alloy horse-harness mount in generally good surface condition, but no original coloration remaining. The piece is bent across at a slight diagonal, at an angle of perhaps 40 degrees, and the photograph is a meld of images of the two parts of the face; junction clearly visible. The piece bears the arms “billety, on a bend three escallops”. Measurements: 36 mm x 44 mm.
