Description
English: "Kemali Söylemezoğlu 1930’da Galatasaray Lisesi’ni, 1935’te Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi Yüksek Mimarlık Bölümü’nü bitirdi. 1939’da Humbolt bursuyla gittiği Stuttgart Teknik Üniversitesi’nden ikinci mimarlık diplomasını aldı. Stuttgart’ta ayrıca Paul Bonatz’ın

yanında çalıştı. 1940’ta Türkiye’ye döndükten sonra, Bonatz’ın da yardımıyla çeşitli eğitim yapıları tasarlayıp uyguladı. 1946’da doçentlik tezini verdi ve İTÜ Mimarlık Fakültesi’ne atandı. Eşi Harika Söylemezoğlu ile çeşitli proje yarışmalarında katıldı ve bazılarında ödüle layık görüldü. Kariyeri boyunca mimarlık ve eğitimcilik yapan Söylemezoğlu 1995’te vefat etti.

Paul Bonatz’ın arşivinin bir kısmını da içeren Harika-Kemali Söylemezoğlu arşivine saltresearch.org adresinden erişilebilir."
