Association, Montreal. PROSPECTUS ISSUED BY RETAIL-ERS. Considerable enterprise has beenshown by Howard L. Knox of Lynden,Ont., who not long ago, took over thegeneral store business of J. H. Cornell. In addition to a general line of hard-ware and tinware, Mr. Knox handlesseveral specialties which he sells fromsample, or catalogue. To call his cus-tomers attention to these lines, he hasissued what he terms a Prospectus,illustrating and briefly describing thedifferent goods he handles, apart fromthe regular stock. The prospectus is nine by six inchesin size, and contains eight pages andcover. The cover is printed on coatedpaper, the front showing a half tonecut of Mr. Knoxs store and residence. Each booklet is punched at the upperleft hand corner, so that customers canput a string through it, and hang it ona convenient nail.
